Bramble Mere lake was dug in the 1960’s as gravel extraction.  Bramble Mere was left to mature until mid seventies when stocked with  a classic strain of carp from the Priory Fishery. In 2000 the lake was allowed to be fished exclusively by a small syndicate of which the current owner was a member.

The 7 acre lake is set in the peaceful  Cotswold’s adjacent to a nature reserve, yet close enough to enjoy local amenities of Fairford and Lechlade.

The lake complex was purchased in 2012 and continued to be fished  exclusively  by a small syndicate till end of the 2014 season.  During the last twelve years the  owner  a keen carp angler has invested into the site facilities and security to allow a totally stress free fishing experience. The site is totally fenced.

Extensive  Investment was also made to create stock pond facilities to improve the fish stock sustainability by growing and selecting exceptional  Carp stock for future release into Bramble Mere.

A  car park is available, with new toilet and shower facilities available to fishermen.

Bramble Mere has approximately  280 carp ranging from single figure to over 38lbs with a large head of 20lb fish.
