Bramble Mere lake was dug in the 1960’s as gravel extraction. Bramble Mere was left to mature until mid seventies when stocked with a classic strain of carp from the Priory Fishery. In 2000 the lake was allowed to be fished exclusively by a small syndicate of which the current owner was a member.
The 7 acre lake is set in the peaceful Cotswold’s adjacent to a nature reserve, yet close enough to enjoy local amenities of Fairford and Lechlade.
The lake complex was purchased in 2012 and during last 6 years the owner has heavily invested into the site facilities and security to allow a totally stress free fishing experience. The site is totally fenced.
A car park is available, with new toilet and shower facilities available to fishermen.
